Prompt
Are writers social beings? I'm not! But social people are very interesting. Don't worry, I'm not going to force you to have a conversation - but I would like it if you went or stayed in a place where there are two other people besides you, and picked something they say to write something about. I wanted writing inspired by conversation.
It doesn't have to be excellent literary conversation - make a poem out of someone talking about their badly behaved dog! Write a story about someone's plumbing problems. Create a script out of a sibling being amused or irritated by another sibling. Make it fanciful, make it anchored in reality, make it tangential, make it an existential crisis - anything goes.
Can't find any conversation? Use a piece of dialogue from random snippets of conversaton. Write something inspired by real-life conversation.
Don't forget to submit your responses to the folder here if you want to be featured!
