Guys, there were no submissions to the last prompt, therefore there is no featured piece this time.
Prompt
Earthlings, I come bearing gifts!
With NaPoWriMo half done, as well as Script Frenzy, and Camp NaNo, I've been reading plenty of emotional and visceral pieces which have been pretty spectacular. However, since it's the middle of all these hectic happenings, perhaps it's time to relax, and slap some strange and/or silly into things!
The prompt is, therefore: imagine yourself landing on an earth-like (i.e. containing life) planet and, in poem or prose or script form, describe this place and the life on it. Get as creative and original as possible!
