But, just like to say that I loved the contest idea--and hope to participate in something similar at some later point.

And who knows? I might pull out a few thousand words of fiction+non-fiction with no characters yet with a non-native speaker (who must not be a character) involved in the twist. Hmm hmm.

I've got some nasty dice that I haven't even started to deal with yet, and school sort of begins on Monday...so we'll see. It seems unlikely. I have another project due the day before that is eligible for some nice cash prizes, and I've actually made progress on that one, so what little extra time I have with the start of school might go there instead...

On the bright side, I wrote lots that I'm decently happy with in the past month for a major revision project
