Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.
I know this is a no-duh for 90% of people reading it but for the sake of the rest lets revise what we all should know about online phishig. And before you go all:

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

What I personally find the hardest to draw is feet and hands. I found that with a lot of practice and a lot of frustrating mistakes my feet and hands actually look at the very least almost the way i want them to be.
Now my favorite Style of drawing is Anime or sometimes semi-realism, and i find that by doing studies of the more traditional style realism actually helps improve my anime pictures greatly. For instance i would practice drawing my hands and feet in different positions holding different things and from different angles. I also find it extremely helpful while i'm drawing and i'm having a particularly hard time drawing a hand or a foot in a certain position i will stop for a

Considering the interest garnered by our last feature of a publishing opportunity, we have decided to make it a fortnightly project of ours, wherein we will promote a different publishing opportunity with every blog.

This will happen every other Monday, beginning with this one.

The opportunity:

The National Association of Writers in Education (NAWE) are looking for individuals to write for 'The Hub'; a bi-monthly app magazine and podcast for young people.

The details:

They are currently calling for submissions of poetry, short stories, reviews and writing about writing for the first issue of their bi-monthly online magazine, 'Myths of the Near Future'.

You must be 25 or under and send a photo of or representing yourself and brief bio of your writing life, along with an attachment as a MS Word Document. They accept work of any genre and length and you may have your work edited as part of the publishing process.

The deadline is Saturday, April 14^th, 2012 (however, the magazine will always be calling for submissions!).

How to submit:

Submissions must be sent to the editor's email: myths.youngwritershub@gmail.com
