Our first ever Halloween party was held a few days ago, since we were sure that all of you little zombies would be pretty busy with the apocalypse today. Even if it wasn't actually Halloween, though, it surely felt so! With awesomeness in the air and spookiness provided by the creativity (and randomness!) of all of you, our party was a huge success.

We had rounds of Flash Lit that were stunning, with
a bit crazy incredible prompts that were both funny to write about and to think of; and lots of participants that made sure silence never lasted long.

but what's most amazing is that we have a surprise for some of you! Three random participants were selected for a one-month PM each.

just a small prize for their efforts and Halloween spirit.
But first, let me show you some of the best efforts of our Flash Lit! They could make you laugh, or shiver... or maybe both.

A while off the roads, down and aways from the church, stands a tall, bell-headed clown. His eyes are made of glazed stones and dust, and he is but a child, and hidden off from direct view of the church doors because the road curves off a bit.
Winds blows and nights pass in this quaint little village, and children and adults like enjoy passing by this lovely, charismatic little statue, perched high above on his pedestal and looming over with his happy smile and sorrowful pose of joy. When one passes by, they cannot but help to warm up, and when the chill winds pass through cold autumn mornings with the golden
Oh, my Annabell, I do so love the way the worms

doodlerTM Come here and I'll show you something nice. Just a bit more through that door. Yes, that's right, just further on. Don't fear what could be there, 'cause you'll it see very soon. I'll light the way with my small lamp. A little shine that shows the way. The creaking floors is telling us; where you are - right next to me. Grasp that knob and open it. You see what's in that darkened room? Those on the floor here . at this place? Yes they are, the blackened bones. They've been here so long. They're gorgeos, aren't they? And you'll be one of them soon."Now look here, sir," the tall man said, "I really must object - your request is simply out of the question." The ghost moaned balefully. "All I want is some evening moonlight - all the other graves get some." The man's moustache bristled. "That yew tree has been in your graveyard much longer than you have. You can't expect us to chop it down just because you want the moonlight to shine on your grave!" The ghost sighed. "Well I suppose I'll have to eat my breakfast in the dark, as usual..." he moaned again and floated away, although the man decided that if ghosts could drag their feet dejectedly, this one was doing so.
These works are amazing, funny and chilling at the same time. The chat events were so much fun, and I'm really glad we had so many participants.

Randomly selected, the three lucky deviants were =
NekoMarik , `
HaveTales-WillTell and ~
Atlantihero-Kyoxei !

Thank you all for participating, and we hope you'll be with us for our future chat events. (:

Last but not least, let me take this occasion as an excuse to introduce myself. I've been admin for this Group since the first weeks it was created and the admin team recently decided to appoint me Wordsmistress, replacing =
jonathoncomfortreed; he's been such an amazing "boss" for all of us that it feels impossible to do as good a job as he did. But the word group implies I have all of the other admins and you members to back me up, help me when I do something wrong and be the
dictator (

) leader you deserve. So thank you for having joined the revolution and taking part in it and from all of us, happy Halloween!
